Craig Davenport-Landscape Designer
Craig is a landscape designer whose work is defined by a deep respect for nature and a commitment to ecological integrity. His creative approach merges artistry with environmental consciousness, drawing from both traditional and contemporary practices in landscape and architectural design.
Craig began his design journey studying 3D Design at Lincolnshire College of Art and Design, before moving on to the University of Sheffield, home to the largest Landscape department in Europe. Under the mentorship of visionaries Professor Nigel Dunnett and James Hitchmough, Craig developed a strong ecological foundation that continues to influence his work.
His early career included studio training at Camlin Lonsdale, where he contributed to high-profile projects such as:

In 2005, Craig expanded his horizons to Brazil, working as an architect. There, he took on diverse design challenges—from residential and commercial architecture to reforestation of pasture helping to restore biodiversity in degraded areas.
Now based in the UK, Craig spends much of his time in the British countryside, drawing inspiration from native ecosystems and natural rhythms which inform
and enrich his landscape designs.

Landscape design creates a dialogue between human experience and the natural world. His philosophy is rooted in a belief that great design doesn’t impose—it collaborates, enhances, and restores.
